Off-Campus Education 

Men at Work

Opportunities for Students

Our programs are designed to help students recognize their special talents and interests and put education into a meaningful framework. Programs help students participate in out-of-class study while they gain their diploma, and transition to the workforce and post-secondary education. We provide a variety of Off-Campus opportunities for students. 


Dual-Credit
Designed for students who are interested in a career area and want to work towards post-secondary and/or workplace certification while in high school.

 

Exploratory
Designed for students who are interested in a skilled trade and want to work with a journeyman to explore the trade and earn workplace certifications and high school credits.

 

Green Certificate
An apprenticeship-style program designed for students interested in the agriculture industry and want to learn on the job under the direction of experienced farm personnel. Students earn high school credits and obtain certification from Alberta Agriculture and Forestry.

Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP)
Designed for students who want to begin training in a trade of their choice, work towards becoming an indentured apprentice and earn credits toward their high school diploma.

Work Experience
Available to high school students who are already working or volunteering and want to earn credits towards their high school diploma
