English Language Arts

At Bishop Carroll our English teachers firmly believe that every student has a unique voice and we work to help students discover and develop that voice. Whether it is through writing creative stories, exploring ideas, thinking critically about texts, participating in small and large group discussions on a variety of topics, or collaborating with students, our goal is to help students learn how to express themselves clearly through a variety of forms: written, orally, and artistically.  Through written and oral expression, students at BCHS explore one of the most infinite questions in life: what does it truly mean to be human?
